Benton Sports Swap was founded in October 2024 by owners Amber Thorne and Dana Bahr, both lifelong sports parents.
Having raised children active in a variety of sports, they recognized the need for a place where families could bring quality sports equipment their kids had outgrown or no longer used. With the rising costs of athletics—especially in travel leagues—many families face the burden of purchasing expensive gear that often ends up sitting in storage once it’s no longer needed.

Benton Sports Swap was created to provide a practical and affordable solution, allowing sports families to buy and sell equipment while keeping kids in the game without breaking the bank.
